Christian marriages- they communicate!!

St Paul the Apostle clearly stated: “Love suffereth long and is kind.” Love does not see hate or evil. Love puts two heads together with a smile. Marriage is ordained by God from the beginning. The Bible tells us that God despises divorce.

Some things that cause problems in a marriage / something that makes a marriage work:

• Money: problems started when one spouse is making more money than the other.

As a Shepherd, I love my sheep and I intend to lead them in the right direction. Marriage is healthy. Divorce is ugly and it sure hurt those who are involved in it. Malachi 2: 16: God hates divorce. Why? It destroys families. I'll always love my parents because they struggled with twelve children in hard times and despite their situation, they stuck together like glue. That is why Jesus said, “who God join together, let no man put asunder” ( See Matthew 5: 32 Jesus said, “whosoever that put away his wife... ”).

In marriage it is only you and your spouse who can make that marriage work. Love and practice because it's a step-by-step struggle because two people can never be the same. Because of this, many people find problems often in their marriages because they want to change their spouse to do what they want to do.

For example, “Sarah” may love to go to the movies on Saturdays, “John “prefers to stays home. Should you have an argument about that? I don't think so. What we need here is understanding between two people for a sound marriage to remain successful.
